Five Chelsea players have been selected in the England squad by Sarina Wiegman for the forthcoming friendlies against Austria and Italy.
After dramatically missing out on a place in the Nations League finals in December, the Lionesses are travelling to the south of Spain for a warm-weather training camp and a pair of international fixtures.
There is no Millie Bright in the squad – the Blues captain is continuing her recovery from a long-standing knee issue – but there is strong Chelsea representation in the players called up by Wiegman.
Goalkeeper Hannah Hampton, who has started our last four Women's Super League fixtures, is named in the squad alongside Blues defenders Jess Carter and Niamh Charles.
Fran Kirby has received a call-up after scoring four goals in our last five games and Lauren James, who has struck 12 times in the WSL this season, is also selected in the squad.
