Chelsea's non-internationals are back out on the training pitch at Cobham as preparations get under way for the return of Premier League action.

After a few days to rest and recuperate, the Chelsea players who have stayed at home during the March international break returned to work on the training pitch at Cobham on Monday afternoon, before a full session on Tuesday as attention turns to our next match, which is fast approaching on the horizon.

That rest followed a busy period leading into the first international break of 2024, which ended with the Blues booking our spot at Wembley for the FA Cup semi-finals by beating Leicester City 4-2 at the Bridge in the quarters last time out.

Chelsea are back in action on Saturday afternoon, when we host Burnley in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge. We triumphed 4-1 in the previous fixture against the Clarets this season, with Cole Palmer, Raheem Sterling and Nicolas Jackson on target at Turf Moor in October, in addition to an Ameen Al-Dakhil own goal.

It was a mixture of youth and experience out on the grass on Tuesday ahead of that match, with the likes of Thiago Silva, Benoit Badiashile, Axel Disasi, Raheem Sterling and Marcus Bettinelli joined by some of the more senior players from our Academy.

It also provided Mauricio Pochettino and his staff another chance to work with some of the players who have made their senior debuts recently and featured among the substitutes for our men's team, with Deivid Washington, Jimi Tauriainen, Leo Castledine, Dylan Williams and Teddy Curd among those involved today.
