Chelsea were back at Cobham on Friday as our focus switched to Liverpool on Sunday. Here are some of the standout pictures from this afternoon's training session.

The Blues took a big step towards securing our place in the Conference League final last night as we beat Djurgarden 4-1 victory in Stockholm in the first leg of our semi-final.

The second tie with the Swedish club will take place at Stamford Bridge on Thursday next week but before then, we have the small matter of welcoming the recently-crowned Premier League champions Liverpool on Sunday.

Reggie Walsh was in training once more, fresh after becoming the youngest player to feature for Chelsea since 1967 after making his senior debut last night aged just 16 years and 191 days.

The midfielder became the eighth Academy graduate to make his debut for the senior team this season and a several of Cobham's finest were on show in training on Friday afternoon.

One player who didn't travel to Sweden was Romeo Lavia. The midfielder has been left out of our Conference League squad as we look to manage his workload following a long-term injury last season.

The Belgian will be hoping he will be in the line-up once again on Sunday after making a big impact following his return to the starting XI against Everton.

Robert Sanchez and Christopher Nkunku were also left back at home after picking up knocks in the last week.

Enzo Maresca is yet to decide on whether the pair will be available for the visit of the Reds, meaning Filip Jorgensen could be between the sticks once more if Sanchez is deemed not fit enough to return, after making several fine stops during our 4-1 win over Djurgarden.

Chelsea head into Sunday's game in fifth position on 60 points, level with Nottingham Forest below us and one behind Manchester City in fourth.

Just five points separate third-placed Newcastle United and Aston Villa in seventh, but this week Maresca stressed: ‘In this moment, the main thing is to watch ourselves and be focused on ourselves. This is the main point. For sure, there are more clubs involved [in the top-five Champions League qualification race] but for us it’s important to stay focus on ourselves.’

Our game with Liverpool will be shown live in the UK by Sky Sports, and is available via local Premier League TV rights holders in other countries.
