The players were working hard on Tuesday as Enzo Maresca continued to prepare his squad for Saturday's FA Cup third round tie with Morecambe.

The Blues will be hoping to continue their excellent FA Cup third round record at Stamford Bridge when we host Morecambe, who are currently 23rd in League Two.

Chelsea have only exited the FA Cup third round once at Stamford Bridge since the turn of the millennium, a run which covers 21 matches.

This won't be Maresca's maiden FA Cup tie at Stamford Bridge as he was in charge of the Leicester City team who visited last season but this will be the first time he leads out the Blues in the world's oldest cup competition.

Chelsea have won the FA Cup eight times in our history, with seven of those arriving in the last 28 years, and Maresca will be hoping Saturday is the start of another famous run.

There was a good mix of hard work and camaraderie during training as Maresca looks to utilise his first free week of training with the whole squad since September.

'Finally we have an entire week where we can work properly,' Maresca said after the 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace.

'The players are off on Sunday and then we have the whole week where we can work and we can go in deep with the details and try to go again to win games.'

Maresca will be speaking to the media at 1pm on Friday where he will no doubt be asked about selection, having previously rotated his squad in the EFL Cup and Conference League this season.

The Blues also have players working their way back to full fitness, with captain Reece James taking a place on the bench for our last two matches, having not featured since November 10, and Romeo Lavia also back in training after suffering an injury in mid-December.

Saturday's match will not be broadcast live in the UK but you can watch the game back in full on the official Chelsea website and app from 12pm on Sunday.

You can also get live commentary and minute-by-minute updates from Chelsea versus Morecambe in our match centre on the official website and app.
