There is just one more Chelsea match remaining in this season’s Premier League campaign and preparations for it got under way at Cobham on Monday.

We are into the last week of the domestic season and it is set to be a dramatic and decisive one. The race for Champions League qualification is going right to the wire, when we travel to fellow European hopefuls Nottingham Forest.

The Blues are one of five teams in contention for the remaining three spots in the Champions League, alongside Forest, Aston Villa, Manchester City and Newcastle United, all of who are currently separated in the table by just a single point.

Chelsea are well placed after Marc Cucurella’s goal gave us a vital 1-0 win over Manchester United in our last home game of 2024/25 on Friday evening. That means another victory at the City Ground this Sunday would guarantee our qualification, regardless of results elsewhere, as well as sending us into next week’s Conference League final with Real Betis on a high.

‘It was a very important win,’ said Cucurella after sealing victory over United. ‘We have been working for this moment all the season. Now we have two more games left.

'Everything depends on us. We need to push hard in the last weeks, give the last effort, and finish the season strong.’

After a weekend of rest and recovery, and a session working in the Cobham gym, Enzo Maresca led his squad back out onto the training pitch on Monday as the Blues kicked-off our preparations for the massive away trip to Forest which will decide our fate.

You will be able to watch the first hour of training live as those preparations continue tomorrow, as part of our media commitments ahead of next week’s UEFA Conference League final. Training will be streamed on the official Chelsea website and app from 3pm on Tuesday, following Maresca’s press conference at midday.
