Chelsea arrived in Sweden late on Wednesday afternoon and got straight to work putting the finishing touches on our preparations for a UEFA Conference League semi-final.
The Blues face Djurgarden in the fist leg of our semi at Stockholm’s 3Arena on Thursday evening, but got their first taste of the pitch with a training session at the same stadium the night before.
Enzo Maresca led his team through the final session before our game in the Swedish capital, straight after he and Pedro Neto had taken on media duties for the pre-match press conference at the 3Arena.
Discussing tomorrow's match in the press conference, Maresca said: 'It is a nice moment and a nice game – it is a semi-final where we have the chance to reach a final. Since we started, we have said about going step by step and now we are going to try to reach the final.'
Under the floodlights in Stockholm, the gathered media watched the Chelsea players stretch out after the flight from London during 15 minutes of open training, before the real work of preparing for the first leg of our tie against Djurgarden got under way behind closed doors.
Kick-off tomorrow is at 8pm UK time and supporters in the UK can watch the game live on TNT Sports, while we will be covering all the build-up, action and reaction on matchday as it happens in our Djurgarden vs Chelsea Match Centre.
Westview tickets for the home leg of this UEFA Conference League semi-final are on sale for £60pp, available exclusively to CFC Members. Hospitality packages are available on general sale here, starting from £160pp.
