Chelsea Women entertained the crowds at Stamford Bridge with a 6-2 victory over Tottenham on Sunday, and Blues fans have voted for their standout performer.

The teams went in at the break with the scores locked at 1-1, as Lauren James' audacious opener from the dead-ball line was cancelled out by Matilda Vinberg's 41st-minute effort.

But in the second half, the Blues went on a goalscoring spree as Ellie Carpenter put us back in front with an emphatic finish at the far post before James showed her skill once more with another sublime goal just after the hour mark.

The second-half substitutes then weighed in, with Sjoeke Nusken smashing home our fourth, before a superb swerving long-range strike from Maika Hamano put us 5-1 in front. Carpenter then completed the rout with a fantastic turn and finish, sealing the 6-2 victory.

And it is James who has been voted as your Star of the Match, earning a whopping 69 per cent share of the votes after head coach Sonia Bompastor described our number ten as a 'world-class player' in her post-match press conference.

Coming in second place with 24 per cent of the votes was Ellie Carpenter, who also netted a brace from her position at right wing-back.

Congratulations, Lauren!
