Chelsea were without four senior players at training on Monday morning at Cobham as we put the finishing touches to our preparations for the Champions League trip to Austria.

The Blues take on Red Bull Salzburg tomorrow evening on matchday five, where a victory would take us one step closer to the last-16. The two sides drew 1-1 in the reverse fixture last month in what was Graham Potter’s first game in charge.

On a bright autumnal morning at our Surrey training base, Potter and his staff put the players through their paces for the final time before we travel to Austria this afternoon, with the first 15 minutes of the session open to the assembled media as is customary before Champions League fixtures.

Reece James, N’Golo Kante, Wesley Fofana and Kalidou Koulibaly were the missing quartet, with the latter having missed Saturday’s clash with Manchester United with a knee problem sustained late on in the draw at Brentford.

Potter will provide a further fitness update on his squad when he faces the press at his media conference in Salzburg this evening, which you can watch live on the official Chelsea website and 5th Stand app from 6pm UK time. The Chelsea head coach will also be joined by Ruben Loftus-Cheek.
