Shumaira Mheuka, Harrison Murray-Campbell, Mathis Eboue and Chizaram Ezenwata have all been shortlisted for honours at the upcoming 2026 Premier League Academy Awards.

Chelsea have two nominees for the Premier League 2 Player of the Season award, alongside two more recognised in the Under-18 Premier League category, underlining an outstanding campaign across the Academy.

It has been a brilliant season for both our Under-21s and Under-18s, with each side lifting silverware.

The Under-21s secured the Premier League 2 title after winning 14 of their 20 league fixtures to finish top of the table.

Mheuka, who captained the side on 17 occasions during the campaign, is one of those to be nominated. He made an immediate impact, scoring a hat-trick in a 3-1 win over Manchester City early in the season to set the tone for a prolific season.

The forward netted 18 goals in 19 appearances, including another hat-trick against Crystal Palace. He was named Premier League 2 Player of the Month for August and shortlisted again in January.

Another player central to that success was defender Murray-Campbell, who made 20 league appearances across the campaign.

The 19-year-old contributed six goals and four assists, while playing a vital role in a defence that kept seven clean sheets. His performances were further recognised with a Premier League 2 Player of the Month nomination for March.

At Under-18 level, with one match remaining, Chelsea have already been crowned Under-18 Premier League South champions, having won 20 of their 27 fixtures.

One of those nominated for the Under-18 award is Eboue. He has made 24 league appearances, registering 10 goals and six assists. The 17-year-old delivered a standout display in the 6-0 victory over Southampton, scoring twice on the south coast.

Ezenwata completes the list of nominees after an impressive campaign of his own. The striker has been recognised following an outstanding season in front of goal.

The 17-year-old has made 22 appearances, scoring 15 goals and providing seven assists to lead the squad in both categories. He also netted braces in our 4-1 win over West Bromwich Albion and 3-1 victory against Reading.

The winners of the Premier League 2 and Under-18 Premier League Player of the Season awards will be announced at the Premier League Academy Awards on Tuesday 12 May.

Good luck, Blues!
