Chelsea have teamed up with Fantasy Football Scout to help bring you hints, tips and advice during the 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season. Scout will be using their expertise to provide advice and gameweek tips which should prove useful in ensuring you win your mini-leagues.

Here, we look at which of the Blues' players are must-haves, who the best value-for-money picks are, and why Joao Pedro(£7.5) is Chelsea’s most popular player.

The must-haves

Chelsea’s headline attacking addition, Morgan Rogers (£7.5m) has seen his ownership steadily increase above 25 per cent since starting and scoring against Real Sociedad last weekend. The Englishman has surpassed 160 points in each of the last two seasons, missing just two matches in that time and registering 37 attacking returns. Expected to play a key role on the left-side of the Blues’ attack and could form part of an attacking double-up.

At the other end of the pitch Maxence Lacroix (£6.0m) looks set for a strong season at the heart of Chelsea’s backline. The Frenchman has risen in price after notching 154 points in 35 starts for Crystal Palace in 25/26, putting him eighth among defenders.

Encouragingly, he returned DefCon points in over half of his appearances. Lacroix also provides attacking threat, racking up 23 shots from set-plays last season, the same amount as Arsenal’s Gabriel.

Most popular Chelsea player this week

Just like last season,Joao Pedro (£7.5m) is the highest-owned Chelsea player in FPL. The Brazilian currently sits in 62 per cent of teams, second among all players. Pedro’s pre-season form has caught the eye, scoring seven goals in five matches including a hat-trick against Western Sydney Wanderers and a brace at Stamford Bridge at Real Sociedad.

Encouragingly for GW1, Chelsea’s new number nine has form against Fulham. In Gameweek 3 last season, Pedro scored the only goal of the game and notched maximum bonus points. Last season, the Brazilian returned 177 Fantasy points thanks to 15 goals and nine assists, his best-ever season across all three metrics. The under-lying data for Joao Pedro in 2025/26 was equally impressive. No Chelsea player managed more shots (73), big chances (26) or Expected Goals (14.96).

Value for money

Levi Colwill (£5.0m) returned to full fitness at the end of season and started in the Blues’ final friendly on the left of the back-three. In his limited Premier League game time in May, the Englishman averaged an impressive 10 DefCon p/90, hinting at potential for plenty of additional points.

Only one of Chelsea’s first eight matches rank higher than three on the Fixture Difficulty Rating (FDR), increasing the potential for clean sheets. Likewise, in goal, Robert Sanchez (£5.0m) could provide value between the sticks this season. The Spaniard is owned by just 2 per cent of managers and has surpassed 100 points in each of the last two seasons.

Captain's Armband?

Erling Haaland(£15.5m) is likely to be the most captained player this weekend for Manchester City’s home match against Bournemouth. Last season’s Golden Boot winner racked up 239 points in 25/26 thanks to 27 goals, eight assists and 43 bonus points. The Norwegian has scored on the opening day of the season in each of his four seasons in the Premier League with three double-digit hauls in that time.

Elsewhere, Bruno Fernandes (£12.0m) could prove a shrewd choice for FPL managers. The Portugal international ended last season just four points behind Haaland following a stunning run of form under Michael Carrick. In the second half of the season, no player delivered more double-digit hauls. This stat showcases Fernandes’ explosive potential. With penalties and other set-pieces in his locker, an away match against newly-promoted Hull City should prove fruitful.
