Chelsea have teamed up with Fantasy Football Scout to help bring you hints, tips and advice during the 2026/27 Fantasy Premier League (FPL) season. Scout will be using their expertise to provide advice and gameweek tips which should prove useful in ensuring you win your mini-leagues.
Here, we look at which Blues players are the best value-for-money picks, why Morgan Rogers (£7.8m) is Chelsea’s most popular player this week, and who you should captain in Gameweek 6.
Most popular Chelsea player of the week
No Chelsea player has been transferred in by more Fantasy managers than Morgan Rogers (£7.8m) ahead of the Gameweek 6 deadline. Over 200,000 people have moved to bring Chelsea’s summer signing into their team; he now sits in just under 40 per cent of squads and is the most-selected midfielder in the game. Against Brentford in Gameweek 5, no Blues player registered more xGI than Rogers’ 0.4 or had more shots on goal (4).
Among Chelsea players, Rogers ranks joint-first for chances created (11) and shots on target (5). This demonstrates his potential for both goals and assists ahead of Saturday’s fixture against Bournemouth. The Chelsea number 17 has notched an attacking return in both his Stamford Bridge appearances so far. With strong form and plenty of transfers in, expect Rogers’ Fantasy price to keep on rising.
Best value-for-money Chelsea pick
Wesley Fofana (£5.0m) is the only Blues defender to start every game when available this season and ranks joint-first for defensive contributions among Chelsea players with 47. The Frenchman has picked up four DefCon points and averages 13.56 DefCons per 90, well clear of the 10 required for extra points.
Only 0.2 per cent of managers have selected Fofana in Fantasy. In goal, Emi Martinez (£5.0m) continued his record of notching at least one save point in every Gameweek. Since the Argentinian made his debut in Gameweek 2, no goalkeeper has made more saves across the entire league. This increases his Fantasy ceiling as and when the clean sheets start to build up.
Captain's pick
With Erling Haaland (£15.6m) playing away against Liverpool this week, Bukayo Saka (£9.6m) takes centre stage for Arsenal’s home match-up against Leeds. The Gunners scored nine goals without reply against Daniel Farke’s side last season.
Saka has scored three goals in five matches and registered some mightily impressive underlying numbers. No midfielder can better his tally of 4.19 xGI or his six big chances. The Englishman has also taken seven corners and created seven chances.
Elsewhere, Morgan Gibbs-White (£8.0m) is an intriguing option against Crystal Palace. The English midfielder has registered three attacking returns in the last four Gameweeks and takes penalties for Nottingham Forest. The Tricky Trees have impressed on the road so far this season and travel to Selhurst Park. The Eagles rank bottom for expected goals conceded (xGC) among all teams. No player has created more big chances (5) so far this season than Gibbs-White, who nearly 100,000 Fantasy managers have bought.
