The full complement of Chelsea’s senior squad were out on the grass at Cobham this morning in the final training session ahead of our Champions League clash with AC Milan.

Under grey skies on a mild day at our Surrey training base, Graham Potter put his players through their paces for the last time before we host the Italian champions on Wednesday evening in a repeat of our first-ever group game in the competition.

Edouard Mendy, N’Golo Kante, Marc Cucurella and Carney Chukwuemeka were the missing quartet for our 2-1 win at Selhurst Park at the weekend, the latter pair with illness, though all four were involved today.

Kante has not featured since our draw with Tottenham in mid-August, while Mendy has missed our past three matches.

On the duo, Potter said last Friday: ‘They’re absolutely fine in terms of coming through the rehab stages. NG has been on the grass with the team, but not really full training.

'Edou is a bit further on, but hasn’t had enough to be involved at the weekend. Maybe next week for him.'

Potter will provide the very latest team news in his pre-match press conference later this afternoon, which can you watch live on Chelsea platforms from 3pm. Kalidou Koulibaly will also be addressing the media during that briefing.
