Gallery: Chelsea Women train ahead of clash with Benfica

There were plenty of smiles at Cobham this afternoon as Chelsea FC Women completed final preparations ahead of our return to the Champions League.

Before flying to Portugal for the first leg of our round of 32 tie against Benfica Wednesday afternoon, Emma Hayes put the Blues through their paces.

Hayes confirmed in her press conference earlier today that Sam Kerr, who netted a hat-trick in our league victory over West Ham on Sunday, has been included in our squad for tomorrow’s fixture despite picking up a knock during that win.

Drew Spence and Hannah Blundell both trained with the squad following injuries, giving Hayes a fully fit squad to choose from.
