Temperatures may have been a little on the cold side at Cobham today, but the Chelsea players looked red-hot as Frank Lampard’s Blues held a final training session before the weekend clash with Southampton.
Our head coach and his staff worked with the squad at our Surrey training base today, with gloves, hats and snoods required to combat the October nip in the air.
Hakim Ziyech, Christian Pulisic and Ben Chilwell all trained today, with Lampard confirming that all three will be in the squad to face the Saints in the Premier League tomorrow.
Thiago Silva was also part of the session after spending time on international duty with Brazil, although Lampard stated that it was unlikely the defender will be involved at Stamford Bridge tomorrow due to the travelling he’s done this week.
