There was plenty of quality on show at Cobham yesterday, as Frank Lampard’s Blues trained for the final time before welcoming Leeds to Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea take on Marcelo Bielsa’s Whites at the Bridge this evening, with the renewal of an old-aged rivalry set to take place in an eagerly awaited Premier League fixture.

Spirits were high, even if the temperatures were low, at our Cobham training base and we were fortunate enough to be on hand to capture the best images from yesterday’s session.

Olivier Giroud, fresh from scoring four against Sevilla, looked sharp and will hope to retain his starting place, but both Tammy Abraham and Timo Werner also caught the eye at Cobham and the competition for places remains as high as ever.

Reece James was all smiles along with fellow full-back Ben Chilwell after winning a training ground drill, while it was great to see Billy Gilmour enjoying himself after making his long-awaited return against Sevilla in midweek.
