Qarabag certainly didn't make it easy for Chelsea during our Champions League clash in Baku, but goals from Estevao Willian and Alejandro Garnacho earned the Blues a 2-2 draw and added another point to our league phase total.

Having travelled more than 2,500 miles to reach the Azerbaijan capital, a sluggish start from Enzo Maresca's side would've been forgiven.

Instead, the Blues started well and broke the deadlock in the 16th minute when Estevao collected a pass from Andrey Santos inside the Qarabag penalty area, shifted the ball onto his left foot and fired into the near post.

The home side upped their intensity, though, and levelled before the half-hour mark; Leandro Andrade reacted quickest in the Chelsea penalty area to volley beyond Robert Sanchez. Marko Jankovic converted a penalty soon after Qarabag led at the break.

Maresca made changes at the interval. One of those was Alejandro Garnacho and he powered us level with a fine left-footed finish across goal.

We dominated the remainder of the contest and came close to finding a winner on several occasions. Unfortunately, it didn't arrive and the Blues had to settle for a point.
