Chelsea were well represented at last night's Ballon d'Or ceremony in Paris, with Blues head coach Sonia Bompastor in attendance alongside Yashin Trophy winner Hannah Hampton, Sandy Baltimore, Lucy Bronze, Wieke Kaptein and Johanna Rytting Kaneryd.

Hampton was the big winner on the night for the Blues as she received the inaugural Women's Yashin Trophy –presented to the world's standout goalkeeper – after celebrating a domestic Treble with Chelsea and helping England retain the European Championship.

In the voting for the Women's Ballon d'Or, Bronze placed highest of the four Blues shortlisted. The England international was ninth, Hampton 10th, Baltimore 15th, and Rytting Kaneryd 23rd.

Bompastor's work in our maiden campaign at Chelsea was recognised with a nomination for Women's Team Coach of the Year, and Wieke Kaptein finished third in the voting for the Women's Kopa Trophy, which is presented to the standout Under-21 player.

Cole Palmer was the sole Chelsea player shortlisted for the Men's Ballon d'Or award, and he finished eighth in the voting after helping the Blues win the Conference League and Club World Cup over the past 12 months. Enzo Maresca, meanwhile, was nominated for the Men's Team Coach of the Year.
