It was a stellar display by the Blues as we picked up right where we left off from last season with victory, as we begin our title defence.

Aggie Beever-Jones got us off to the perfect start, converting after just 30 minutes, latching on to the end of Ellie Carpenter's cross, and wheeling away to celebrate with The Shed End.

After the break, Sonia Bompostor's side continued to press for a second, and eventually we found another as Maika Hamano fired home from close range. And despite City halving our advantage with 20 minutes left to play, we held strong and made sure to see out the win.
