Thomas Tuchel and his players returned to Cobham this afternoon to undergo their first session since returning from our pre-season tour of the United States.

The Blues had a two-week stay out in the States, with training ground work on their fitness and three matches played as part of the preparations ahead of the 2022/23 campaign.

Chelsea will spend the next few days out on the grass in Surrey before we travel to north-east Italy later in the week to face Serie A side Udinese, for our final pre-season encounter of the summer.

After that, we will have a full week to recover before our Premier League opener, which comes on Saturday 6 August at Everton.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek and N'Golo Kante were involved, after missing our US tour.
