Estevao and Joao Pedro got on the scoresheet, with the younger of the two Brazilians opening his account in his first game wearing blue.

There were positive performances all over the park as Chelsea dominated Leverkusen, who were playing their fourth pre-season fixture. We had only had four days of training but you wouldn't have known it such was the energy, quality and coherence with which we played.
