The Blues are back in the Champions League and although our campaign started with defeat, it feels right to see Chelsea return to the top table with Europe’s elite.
After last season’s exploits in the Conference League – a competition we won to secure our status as the only club to have lifted every European trophy – we made our return to the Champions League with a league phase game away at Bayern Munich.
Despite being edged out 3-1 by the side from Bavaria, with Cole Palmer netting on his 100th appearance, we can leave Germany with plenty of positives for the remainder of the European campaign.
