Chelsea completed the signing of the exciting midfielder from Manchester City earlier this morning, with the England youth international penning a long-term deal at Stamford Bridge.

Palmer, who will wear the number 20 shirt for Chelsea this season, finalised his switch earlier and will hope to make his Blues bow at Stamford Bridge on Saturday when Nottingham Forest visit SW6.

The creative talent, who can play as a No.10 or in wide positions, reunites with former City team-mate Raheem Sterling and fellow young Lions Levi Colwill and Noni Madueke.
