More than 300 appearances for Chelsea and countless trophies later, Millie Bright has called time on her hugely successful playing career. Here we look back on her time with the Blues through the camera lens.
The signing of Bright from Doncaster Belles was announced in December 2014, and she established herself as a regular in the side the following year, ending the 2015 season as a Women's Super League and FA Cup winner and the Players’ Player of the Year.
Over the next decade, Bright was a figurehead as the Blues cemented our place as the dominant women's side in English football. She lifted 20 trophies with Chelsea, and after being named captain in September 2023, led the Blues to an unbeaten domestic treble last season.
We will be marking Millie’s loyal service ahead of our final Women’s Super League match of the season against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on 16 May.
