Pre-season work continued on the training pitches at Cobham today, with the Blues being pushed hard ahead of our VisitMalta Weekender matches against Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan.

After four days of graft at our Surrey training base, Enzo Maresca's squad returns to action tomorrow night for the first time since being crowned world champions.

Bayer are the first visitors to Stamford Bridge; Milan then follow on Sunday. Both matches are opportunities for Enzo Maresca to get vital minutes into the legs of his players.

The Blues head coach said: 'We are going to try to share minutes with all of them and we will see if we are going to try some different tactical things for the season.

‘It is important to see where we are, but knowing that I could see in the last few days where we are physically. ‘We have now two friendly games, in which we are going to try to share minutes, and then we focus on the Crystal Palace game.’

Maresca was out on the grass today as the Blues continued to build fitness ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. And you can view our favourite images from Cobham below...
