It was back to Cobham for day two of pre-season for the Chelsea players, with Enzo Maresca and his staff overseeing work in both the gym and out on the training pitches at our Surrey base.

Following our triumph at the Club World Cup in the United States, the Blues squad was given time off to refresh and refocus. The players returned to work yesterday, with the 2025/26 campaign now firmly on the horizon.

There is work to be done at Cobham – and friendlies against Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan to play – to ensure we are ready for our Premier League opener against Crystal Palace.

And the Blues players today undertook sessions in the gym and on the grass, as things stepped up under the watchful eye of Maresca.
