The Blues start the new campaign with four London derbies, and the first of those is against the Eagles, who just defeated Liverpool on penalties in the Community Shield.

We are fresh off two impressive pre-season victories against Bayer Leverkusen and AC Milan, meanwhile. Now the focus switches to the visit of Palace on Sunday afternoon.

It was hot work for the Chelsea squad, and with the warm weather expected to last into next week, it was ideal preparation for the conditions we can expect when our league campaign gets underway.
