The Chelsea players were back to work at Cobham on Tuesday, with the focus switching to Sunday’s trip to Manchester City.
Frank Lampard’s Blues were held to a 2-2 draw by Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge at the weekend, with a Raheem Sterling double cancelled out by a brace from Reds forward Taiwo Awoniyi.
Preparations for Sunday’s trip to the Etihad have begun, with recovery moving into more technical work in the Surrey spring sunshine.
Lewis Hall, who impressed against Forest, was involved along with fellow Academy graduates Conor Gallagher and Trevoh Chalobah.
Sterling, fresh from his two goals at the weekend, was also pictured while Thiago Silva, Noni Madueke and Christian Pulisic all featured in the morning session.
Additionally, there was the sight of recently injured Reece James and Ben Chilwell joining Mason Mount in being back out working on grass. Mount did similar yesterday.
