Next up to answer our quick-fire questions on their early experiences in football is Chelsea forward Guro Reiten...

The Norwegian international began her career in her homeland before joining Chelsea in 2019. Since then, she has played an important role in all six of our consecutive Women's Super League titles since that time, as well as lifting four Women's FA Cup and three Women's League Cup trophies.

After finishing as our second-highest scorer on the way to a domestic Treble last season, Reiten took the time recently to share her Football Firsts...

The first match you attended was...

I remember my grandma brought me to a game. It was Molde, which was my favourite club growing up. It was about three hours away, and it was a late one. I had school the next day, but it was lovely. It was so fun.

Your first footballing hero was...

I always looked up to Steven Gerrard, but maybe that's not a good thing to say at Chelsea!

The first football shirt you owned was...

It was my uncle's shirt. He used to play for my childhood club. I have a photo, I was probably three. He was an extra-large, so I was swimming in it!

Your first coach was...

My mum. She was a very supportive parent, but she knew football, and she coached me a lot growing up.

Your first friend in football was...

I'm from a very small place. You basically know everyone there, and we were all friends, boys and girls. Playing football was what we did every day, during school, after school, in the evenings, and even as a team.

The first piece of advice you remember was...

I've been given a lot of advice, but what stands out is 'have fun'.

The first time you were recognised in public was...

I remember the first time I was in the newspaper, because we played a game, and I scored directly from the kick-off. We were six years old or something, and they were like, 'Oh, she's going to be a good one!'

They interviewed my mum, and then when the journalist was about to ask me the questions, I was too busy climbing a tree and eating sausages!
