Chelsea Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Harrison Bettoni, who joins the Blues from Wigan Athletic until 2030.
The 18-year-old arrives having already appeared 27 times for Wigan’s senior team during a breakthrough 2025/26 campaign, predominantly as an attacking midfielder, but also being used as a striker.
Bettoni made his senior debut in last season’s EFL Trophy, before a memorable first League One appearance against Wimbledon. He came off the bench to score a free-kick equaliser with his first touch and then netted a late winner with three minutes remaining, securing Wigan’s first away victory of the campaign.
He scored twice more in 2025/26, finding the net in a 2-0 League One win over Burton Albion and getting the only goal of the game as Wigan defeated Preston North End in the FA Cup third round.
Welcome to Chelsea, Harrison!
