Joining our Academy aged 14, McGlinchey was developed through the youth ranks and his Under-18s debut arrived on the final day of the 2023/24 campaign, in which he grabbed an assist against Arsenal.

McGlinchey was a regular for the young Blues last season, making his Under-21s debut, and represented the Republic of Ireland at Under-19s.
