There was no question who the Blues fans felt was our stand-out performer in the impressive 7-0 victory over Auckland in Chelsea Women's first fixture of our pre-season tour.

We got off to a flying start in New Zealand, helped in no small part by Beever-Jones scoring our first three goals, to complete a stunning hat-trick inside the opening 25 minutes.

The striker slotted in at the end of a team move on 10 minutes, before converting Sjoeke Nusken's reverse pass for her second three minutes later. The hat-trick was complete on 23 minutes from close range.

That earned Beever-Jones a massive 86 per cent of supporters' votes for the Star of the Match, putting her well clear of debutant Katie McCabe, who came in second place with 10 per cent, Nusken rounding off the top three on three per cent.
