Jorrel Hato's Netherlands booked their place in the 2026 World Cup knockout stage as Group F winners following a 3-1 victory over Tunisia.

The Dutch booked their spot in the last 32 thanks to two goals in the first seven minutes, earning all three points in Kansas City and making Jorrel the next Blues player to reach the knockout round.

After those two early goals – one of which was scored by Sunderland's Brian Brobbey – Tunisia pulled one back before the break.

However, it proved only a brief revival as defender Jan Paul van Hecke restored the Netherlands' two-goal cushion before full-time.

Hato was an unused substitute during the game and is still awaiting his first minutes in the tournament.

Having finished top of Group F, the Netherlands will now face Morocco in the round of 32, with the Blues defender's national side hoping to match or better their run to the quarter-finals at the 2022 World Cup.
