Despite double sessions being the order of the day at Chelsea’s Los Angeles training camp, there was still time for us to catch up with Kai Havertz earlier today.

The German international, a key part of Thomas Tuchel’s side last season, took 10 minutes out of his busy schedule to answer a number of questions submitted by fans to our official Twitter account.

Here, on Chelsea channels, we’ve pulled out the highlights from Kai’s Q&A for you below…

What do you make of the new kit?

I love the new kit! I think it’s very simple but very nice and I just love the style of it.

How are you liking the States so far?

I think so far, America has been absolutely amazing. The weather in Los Angeles is so good and I think that the conditions here are just perfect for us to have a great training camp here.

Why did you change your hair?

Mainly because of the hotter weather in the summer, and to get some fresh air on my head!

Favourite F1 driver of all time?

To be totally honest, I only started watching F1 around one year ago so I’m still quite new to it and it’s hard to pinpoint only one driver. So its hard to say but because I’m German, I’d have to go, of course, for Michael Schumacher!

Best goal you’ve ever seen live during a football match?

I’ll go for Emre Can’s goal for Dortmund against Bayer Leverkusen in 2020. I tried to block the shot but it was too good for me to get close to it!

Who has the best music taste in the dressing room?

Good question. I know that it’s definitely not Christian Pulisic because he plays a lot of country music and that’s just not for me!

Favourite goal in a Chelsea shirt so far?

That’s a good question. Other than the title-winning goals (Champions League final and Club World Cup final), I’d probably saw my goal against Newcastle. It was an important goal in the last minute at Stamford Bridge and the atmosphere was amazing.
