Kai Havertz has penned a message to the Chelsea supporters on his Instagram account, following our defeat to Fulham last night.

The Blues were edged out 2-1 by our local rivals at Craven Cottage, with goals from former Chelsea man Willian and Carlos Vinicius securing the points for Marco Silva’s side with Kalidou Koulibaly’s strike just after the break proving in vain.

Graham Potter handed a debut to recent loan signing Joao Felix, who impressed for the Blues before being shown a red card for a high tackle just before the hour mark.

Havertz said he shares the frustrations of the Chelsea fans following a difficult run and spoke to the supporters via Instagram.

‘Tough times call for togetherness,’ wrote Kai on his personal Instagram account.

‘We're as frustrated as all the fans with the way things are going at the moment. We'll continue to work on ourselves and improve with everyday! COYB [Come on you Blues].’
