Chelsea Women’s partnership with Singer Capital Markets continued to break new ground, with a visit from Emma Hayes and Millie Bright to the leading investment bank’s offices.

Singer Capital Markets is dedicated to supporting ambitious UK growth companies and their investors, and the Chelsea pair were greeted by their head of marketing, Joanna Osborne, and founder and chair, Tim Cockroft.

Emma and Millie were then put through their paces on the trading floor, with the firm’s head of trading, Gareth Henderson (pictured top), even handing over the headset to the Chelsea Women manager to answer a live call and make a trade on the market!

Hayes and Bright gave a company-wide address, which included a Q&A session with Singer’s staff. A range of topics were covered, from leadership styles to management techniques, as well as data analysis and the importance of mindset when it comes to responding to a setback.

Zarah Al-Kudcy, Chelsea FC Women’s commercial director, said about the visit: 'Singer Capital Markets continue to be wonderful supporters of the women’s team and it was great to see them discuss the parallels of working in high-pressured environments, both on the pitch and on the trading floor, with Emma and Millie.'

Tim Cockroft, the founder and chair of Singer Capital Markets, added: 'We were delighted to welcome Emma and Millie to our office earlier this week. They are two of the highest-achieving women in football who our staff had the pleasure of hearing from on a range of thought-provoking topics, from key leadership styles, important management practices and how they succeed as a team.

‘As the official partner of the Women’s team since 2021, we continue to support Emma, Millie and the rest of the Chelsea Women team throughout the remainder of the season and look forward to seeing them in action in 2024.’
