Today it has been announced that Chelsea FC Women manager Emma Hayes and forward Pernille Harder are among the final nominees for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2020.

Harder has made the final three for The Best Women’s Player honour and is up against Manchester City’s Lucy Bronze, who won bronze last year, and Lyon’s Wendie Renard.

Hayes, who is in the running for The Best Women’s Coach award, makes the final shortlist along with Lyon’s Jean-Luc Vasseu and Sarina Wiegman of the Dutch national team.

The finalists for The Best FIFA Football Awards 2020, world football’s premium awards event, were announced today during an online media event with FIFA legends Hope Powell, Christie Pearce Rampone, Gilberto Silva and Pablo Aimar.

The winners will be announced on Thursday 17 December via a live broadcast from FIFA’s headquarters in Zurich, Switzerland.

Eight Blues are nominated for the FIFA FIFPro Women’s World 11 2020 and this will also be announced next Thursday.
