Emma Hayes’s history-creating time at Chelsea is drawing to a close but this evening at Stamford Bridge, a permanent recognition of our inspirational manager’s unprecedented achievements has been unveiled.

The Chelsea Women figurehead for so long now takes her pride of place with a host of Blues legends who are celebrated at the Shed End of the stadium.

As part of the CFC Awards 2024 evening, there was a special tribute to Hayes and her 12 years that have served up an incredible 15 trophies, culminating in the revealing of the new installation recounting her Chelsea story and success.

If you pass the Shed Wall, you can see many of the legends that have been part of this club, and that’s what Emma is, a leader, legend, icon. It is only natural that she is seen as one, and has this very special installation made in her honour.

Having built the Chelsea Women support to the stage where it filled the Bridge for our UEFA Women’s Champions League game against Barcelona, Hayes’s place at the stadium alongside the likes of John Terry, Frank Lampard, Ray Wilkins, Peter Osgood and many more can now be viewed for free by our fans and any visitors. She is the first of the Chelsea Women legends to feature there.

If you are coming to the final Premier League game of the season, why not pass by between the Shed Wall and the Tea Bar and take a look at this latest feature and fully deserved accolade for the great Emma Hayes.
