Millie Bright made a record-breaking 211th appearance in the Women’s Super League on Sunday, a phenomenal achievement and one of several areas in which the Chelsea skipper leads the way in the English top flight’s history.
Bright joined Chelsea from Doncaster Rovers Belles a decade ago. She arrived having starred for Donny but, as she told us last month, she found the step up to the big time challenging.
Before long, however, Bright had firmly established herself in the Chelsea side starting to win things under Emma Hayes. She made her senior England debut in 2016, and has been a rock for club and country since - until her international retirement earlier this year.
