The matchday programme for Chelsea Women’s game against Liverpool celebrates the club’s latest WSL title with a commemorative cover and pull-out poster.
Sonia Bompastor and her players will get their hands on the trophy for the sixth consecutive season, and eighth overall, on what promises to be an unforgettable afternoon at Stamford Bridge.
The programme cover celebrates our unrivalled dominance of England’s domestic league since winning our first title in 2015, while the centre-spread poster is a WSL Champions 2024/25 special, paying tribute to the players who have led us to glory this season.
There’s also the story of how we won the title, looking at the key moments throughout the campaign, along with an exclusive interview with Women’s Player of the Season Erin Cuthbert, who was in a reflective mood when she sat down with the programme team earlier this week.
‘I’m still in shock and it probably won’t sink in until I’m on a sun lounger somewhere,’ she said. ‘I’m just delighted. It could have been a number of my team-mates getting that award, and for the fans to vote for me is a big honour.
‘Honestly, from the minute I moved here, I’ve felt so loved. There was such an affinity with the club straight away. If you come to Chelsea and you fight for the badge, giving 100 per cent every game…irrespective of your ability, that’s what the fans want to see.
‘I like to think I’ve given my best in every game. I might not have been brilliant, performance-wise, in all of them, but I always give my best for the shirt. I think the fans appreciate that.’
On top of that, you can hear from the head coach and captain as they look back on a remarkable season, and there’s also a tribute to our two departing legends, Sophie Ingle and Zecira Musovic.
Make sure to pick up your copy from the programme sellers around Stamford Bridge at the game.
