Safety
As in any other city beware of pickpockets and bag snatchers at airports, railway stations, around the town centre and when using public transport.
Be alert to possible bag-snatching or mugging, particularly if you are carrying large amounts of cash or valuables. The risk is higher after dark in the centre of town.
Avoid displaying large sums of money or expensive-looking valuables and avoid walking alone at night.
Only carry what you need, leave spare cash and valuables in hotel room safes or safety deposit facilities.
Remember the place where you are staying, take a hotel business card.
