Route to the stadium
Location
The stadium is located in the Marousi district, a northern suburb of Athens approximately nine kilometres away from the city centre, where the ticket collection point (TCP) is located.
There are two public transport options to reach the stadium.
Option 1. Metro
Take the Metrofrom the TCP to the stadium. This route is direct along the green line (1): From - Omonia station (directly outside the TCP)
To - Irini/Eirene station
There is an approximately 15- to 20-minute walk from there to the away supporter entry point.
Option 2. Buses.
Free buses will be available which will transport supporters to the stadium.
Due to the timing of the match, travelling by metro or private taxi will likely take longer than normal (approximately 30 minutes).
Supporter buses will be escorted by the police so will be able to take supporters to the stadium in plenty of time for kick-off.
Departure Point: The buses will leave at 4pm from Marble Stadium (approximately 15 to 20 minutes' walk from the TCP).
PLEASE NOTE: These buses will also be available to take supporters back to the city centre after the match.
Entering the Stadium
Chelsea supporters should enter via Turnstile 20 at the south of the stadium.
Due to the number of checks that are carried out, the time taken to enter stadiums is generally increasing so we recommended supporters make their way to the stadium in good time. Late arrivals will inevitably be required to queue and there is no guarantee they will see the start of the match.
Entry will consist of:
Visual ticket check
Search
Scanned ticket check
ID is not required. We advise that you leave your passport in a safe place rather than bringing it to the stadium.
The police have advised that any supporter who is intoxicated may be prevented from entering the stadium.
Away supporter seating
Chelsea supporters will be located in the upper tier. Seats are not allocated.

Fan Behaviour
Chelsea supporters are asked to cooperate with the authorities, especially in relation to the entry procedures. Anti-social, noisy behaviour fuelled by excessive drinking may result in admission to the stadium being refused.
Chelsea is a club that actively celebrates our diversity. As supporters, we ask that you share our vision of a club and a game free from discrimination that is open to all.

Matchday information WhatsApp channel
Fresh for 2024/25, the Chelsea FC Matchday Information WhatsApp channel is a source of info specifically targeted towards fans who attend matches. The content on this one-way channel is to enhance the match-going experience, focusing on useful updates on areas away from team matters, whether they be to aid your journey or time at the stadium, about ticketing, or to let you know about off-pitch activities.
Safety
As in any other city, beware of pickpockets and bag snatchers at airports, railway stations, around the city centre and when using public transport.
Thefts of passports, wallets and handbags are common on the metro and in crowded tourist places, particularly in central Athens. It is advised you carry your valuables in different bags and pockets and keep a copy of your passport photo page somewhere safe.
