Public transport to the stadium
Stade de Geneve station (highlighted in yellow on the map below) disembarks near the away fan area at the stadium.
You can use the Swiss Railway System website to plan a journey.
The bus and tram network in Geneva is called TPG. You will find timetables, maps and other information here
The tram station Lancy-Bachetis the one to use for arrival at the stadium.
From the airport
There is no direct train from the airport to the stadium. You first need to go by train to Cornavin main station. All trains stop at Cornavin which is a five-minute ride and is included in the free ticket that you can obtain at the airport.
The free ticket, which is valid for 80 minutes, is available at a ticket machine in the baggage claim area, on the left-hand side from the exit door, before getting to the arrival hall.
Gathering points
There are no official fan gathering points in the city centre. Chelsea supporters can make use of the various bars and restaurants there.
Next to the ground, fans are encouraged to use the Village du Soir bar (shown on the image below).
Chelsea fans are recommended to avoid the Carouge district of the city and the north side of the stadium, including the shopping centre and nearby outlets. These are traditional gathering areas for a large number of Servette fans on a matchday.
Entry to the stadium
Chelsea fans will be located in the South Stand (Tribune Sud), Sector X.
There will be ticket checks and body searches as well as entry by electronic ticket readers.
Due to the number of checks that are carried out, the time taken to enter stadiums is generally increasing so we recommended supporters make their way to the stadium in good time. Late arrivals will inevitably be required to queue and there is no guarantee they will see the start of the match.
