Despite having no match to look forward to this weekend, Chelsea were still out training at a cloudy Cobham on Friday.

The Blues were due to host Liverpool on Sunday, however the highly anticipated encounter with Jurgen Klopp’s side was postponed earlier this week.

It means Graham Potter will have to wait until October to get back in the Chelsea dugout, when we travel to Selhurst Park for his first Premier League match as Blues head coach.

October will see Chelsea play nine matches in a singular month for the first time since December 2021.

There were plenty of smiles on faces at our Surrey training complex this morning as the squad continue to adapt to the change in coaching staff.
