Four goals from Cole Palmer. A sweetly taken strike from Nicolas Jackson. And a childhood dream coming true for Alfie Gilchrist. It was a Monday night to remember at Stamford Bridge.

Mauricio Pochettino's side produced an excellent 90-minute display to dispatch Everton. Six goals were scored and a clean sheet was kept. It was little surprise the Chelsea head coach described it as 'the perfect game'.

Palmer was the star of the opening period. The England international scored a perfect hat-trick (goals with his left foot, right foot and head) inside 30 minutes and added his fourth of the evening in the second half from the penalty spot.

Jackson's goal arrived just before the interval – an excellent turn and swivel to find the bottom corner – and in second-half stoppage time, boyhood Chelsea fan and Academy graduate Gilchrist netted for the first time in Blue.

That was the ideal way to end a comprehensive win and we have pulled together a bumper gallery that reflects on our excellent outing at the Bridge. Enjoy!
