It was quite some introduction to KT1 for Sonia Bompastor, who was overseeing her first game in charge of Chelsea on home soil. She watched on as another newcomer, Sandy Baltimore, opened the scoring early on.
There were three more first-half goals, courtesy of Mayra Ramirez, Sjoeke Nusken, and Wieke Kaptein, before the Blues ran riot after the break. Millie Bright made it 5-0, sub Aggie Beever-Jones netted a quickfire treble, and Maika Hamano got in on the act too to round off an emphatic Chelsea win.
