Brazil were held to a 1-1 draw with Australia last week in the first of a double-header between the countries over this international break, but our former manager Carlo Ancelotti led his side to a comfortable win in the second clash between the pair.

Estevao's Brazil took the lead inside the opening three minutes thanks to an effort from Vanderson before the Socceroos fought back to go 2-1 up after 34 minutes with goals from Alessandro Circati and Connor Metcalfe. That was until Raphinha drew the visitors level from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time.

After the break, Ancelotti made several changes, including introducing Estevao in the 61st minute as a replacement on the right side of attack for Bournemouth's Rayan.

Estevao looked bright during his 30 minutes of action, showing some flashes of brilliance on the ball and came close to getting his name on the scoresheet with a left-footed effort that narrowly went over the bar. 

Brazil went on to win the match through a Bruno Guimaraes strike and a Vinicius Junior penalty as their superior quality and strength from the bench shone through.

The 19-year-old could be in action once again on Saturday when Brazil head to Kolkata to take on India in an international friendly, with kick-off set for 2pm (UK time).
