Grimwade (pictured top) broke the deadlock in the 23rd minute with an outstanding left-footed half-volley. His fantastic strike kissed the right post on its way into the back of the net to hand England the initial advantage.

In the second half, the floodgates opened and fellow Chelsea Under-18 player Henry got his name on the scoresheet. The centre-half extended England’s lead, converting his team-mate’s cross with a well-taken header to make it 3-0.

Lewtas’ side will now head to Wedau, Duisburg to face Israel, Venezuela and hosts Germany.

Over in Alicante, Alfie Osborne captained Scotland Under-19s as they beat Finland 3-1 under new Head Coach Tam Courts.

The summer signing is set to feature in a total of three friendly matches in this international break. Up next, Scotland will face Czechia before concluding their Spanish tour with a game against Ukraine.
