Jorrel Hato played his first game of this international window as the Netherlands defeated Serbia 2-1 in the UEFA Nations League.
Hato was introduced by Xavi on the hour, at which point the game in Eindhoven was locked at 1-1. Teun Koopmeiners' opener after 31 minutes was swiftly cancelled out by Mihajlo Cvetkovic.
Not long after Hato entered the fray, Joshua Zirkzee scored the winning goal, with the Blues defender completing all 21 passes he attempted during his time on the pitch. The Dutch held on to move top of their Nations League group as they seek a spot in next year's knockout rounds. They play Greece and Germany in their final two fixtures in November.
Elsewhere, Pedro Neto was an unused sub as Portugal defeated Norway 2-1 to make it four wins out of four in the Nations League in this window. They will guarantee a quarter-final berth if they avoid defeat against Denmark - who beat Wales tonight - in their next game.
Earlier on Sunday, Reggie Watson scored a penalty for England Under-17s but they were beaten 3-2 by Germany in their final game of this window.
