Noni Madueke bagged the assist for England's solitary goal against Andorra on a special night for Filip Jorgensen as the Chelsea goalkeeper made his Denmark debut.
Reece James, Madueke and Cole Palmer all started for England during tonight's narrow win over Andorra at the RCDE Stadium in Barcelona, with our skipper starting at left-back, Madueke in front of him and Palmer in the No.10 role.
Tonight's result means it is three wins from three in World Cup qualification for Tuchel, with Albania and Latvia second on three points but with a game in hand. Serbia are yet to play due to their involvement in the Nations League.
Madueke was arguably England's best player, especially during a first half where they struggled to break down the deep-lying Andorra defence, and it was the Blues winger who crossed for Harry Kane to tap in the opener five minutes into the second half.
Palmer departed just after the hour mark, with Eberechi Eze coming on, as Madueke was then switched to the right flank.
And the 23-year-old almost rounded off the victory late on when he was unable to direct a finish from a tight angle on goal from close range.
England's next game is on Tuesday night at Nottingham Forest's City Ground in a friendly against Senegal, whose squad includes Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson.
The striker was an unused substitute during Senegal's 1-1 draw at the Republic of Ireland on Friday night.
It has also been a special night for Jorgensen as the Blues goalkeeper started his first game for the Denmark senior team.
It was a disappointing beginning to the game for the hosts as Northern Ireland took an early lead through an own-goal by Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
But Denmark equalised in first-half added time courtesy of Gustav Isaksen and Christian Eriksen scored the winner midway through the second period.
