Nicolas Jackson reflected on an ‘amazing’ night at Stamford Bridge, after the striker played his part in a big win over Luton Town.

Chelsea secured our first three points of the season with a 3-0 home win over the newly-promoted Hatters, with a brace from Raheem Sterling and a first Blues goal from Jackson securing Mauricio Pochettino his first Premier League win as head coach.

After the game, Nico watched back his goal and thanked Sterling for the assist and the fans for their support.

‘I’m so happy to score my first goal at the Bridge,’ a beaming Nico said after the game.

‘It was an amazing night, scoring for this club and getting our first three points of the season. The lads were brilliant and this is just the beginning.

‘It was a great cross from Raheem [Sterling] and I was there to finish it off. I loved it! What a night.

‘Obviously scoring for Chelsea is just an amazing feeling, but it was even better to do it at Stamford Bridge and in front of the fans.

‘I thank them for their support and I hope there’s more to come!’
